Rain at last

Here in Scunthorpe we are having our first rain for weeks hope it lasts a few hrs as the area looks more like the Ghobi at present

It's typical, we've got the Riverside Festival in Stamford tomorrow, which is a big day of rock and metal there and it's been bloody sunny all week now it starts to rain.

sounds about right for British weather.

Chucking it down in Derby. My lawn might actually return to a green colour now, rather than the pale yellow it's been for the last couple of weeks!

We had our first "measureable" rainfall (stuff that actually showed up on my rain gauge) in 18 days during a thunderstorm last night. I was beginniing to forget what the stuff looks like!
