Right, me and my old man want to travel down in the next month for the day, and have a wander round the musuems. I have all the info from the website, but just wondered if anybody has any inside info we could use.

Hi There,

THe Duxford website is the best place for info. You might catch the odd aircraft flying but this can be hit and miss. There is also Cosford you can visit for Free which is good

Most of the hangers are well lit, the only place I used a flash was in the Land Warfare Hall.
If planes are flying, you can't get very close, so a reasonable length zoom or prime could be helpful.
