I have been using Yongnuo RF 603ii radio triggers on a camera situated behind the goal at football and they are operate intermittently. When I set the camera up behind the goal I test them from a distance to see they are firing OK. I then do not move any further away throughout the game.
The triggers will work for about 15mins into the game then stop working until about 10mins from the end of the game!
The triggers have done this twice on me now.Has anyone else had problems with these Yongnuo RF603ii.?

change the batteries

I take it you have tried using different channels to ensure it's not being interfered with by someone on a similar channel

That's two things I have considered. There are other cameras behind the goal. Also these Yongnuo RF 603ii are supposed to run on AAA 1.5 volt batteries and I have been using Sanyo eneloops which I have noticed are not 1.5 volt but 1.2 volts but they fire the camera OK. I will have to try and use a different channel it maybe that the other Togs are pressing their triggers the same time as me and we are all jamming each other as we are on the same channel. It takes time to sort it out.

I use 602s. Batteries last for ages if you turn the unit off when not in use. Check connections. It might be loose on the hot shoe. I'd ask the other chaps. I'm the sole user at matches I go to so interference is not an issue for me.

I also use 602'Ns,
How are you firing the remote camera with the 603's?, you must be manually pressing the release on the parent camera's unit as they will not fire off the shutter button?
I had an issue like yours a while ago & found sliding the frequency toggle to a different setting solved the problem. Kind regards Graham.

If someone else was using the same channel though wouldn't your camera fire a shot when the other photographer(s) pressed the trigger button to fire theirs, and yours fire their camera as well, so I would expect you to see more shots on the camera than you actually fired?

More likely interference from something else blocking your signal.

Not the shutter button it's the other RF603.I shall try changing the channel but it is odd that when tested at home over a distance IE my garden then walk down street they fire fine. At pitch side I am between goal and corner post and they fire OK until 15mins or so into match. It's like something is jamming them.

That's a good point.I was thinking that other togs using the same channel would jam my triggers but actually they would fire them.
