Professionals watched it back in the day and still watch it now think it's still great

I heard this on the radio earlier today,
very sad. :(
I loved him in "who dares wins" too.

And of course a few of us may remember the Cuckoo waltz, also "staring"
Diane Keen and David Roper.

Very sad day for many fans and as a former Capri owner I was Bodie. Time to watch Who Dares Wins.
 
Omg! What sad news :( I used to watch The Professionals as a kid and still love it now.

Must admit I did prefer the RS2000 though :D

Im with you on the RS2000 - Great memories of a great bit of TV I thought they were uber cool! RIP Lewis
 
one of my hero's as a kid.....loved The Professionals. No age either, and really can't believe he got passed over as Bond purely because Broccoli wanted a Connery clone
 
I wouldn't say Bodie & Doyle were my heroes, but I did enjoy the programme, and still do with the repeats (Nostalga?). Whatever, Bodie (Mr Collins) is a big lost. RIP Mr Lewis Collins.
 
Whilst I was serving on board HMS Fearless we visited Newcastle & a bunch of us wangled invites to the premiere of "Who Dares Wins". We were introduced to some of the cast - including Lewis Collins - and had our photos taken with them. He came back on board with for a drink with us.......top bloke! Such a shame. RIP.

As a kid, I recall riding round on my Raleigh Grifter pretending to be Bodie :)
 
I like Lewis Collins so much, I sometimes wish that if someone was making a live action version of Captain Scarlet, they should cast him as Scarlet. Thank you so much Lewis for The Professionals.

As promised a photo of some of the crew of HMS Fearless (including me) at the premier of Who Dares Wins with Lewis Collins (and Ingrid Pitt). This would have been taken by one of the ships photographers. I am the handsome young man standing next to Ingrid Pitt.
