Hi Guys,

Sorry if I sound dumb here, but what are these websites and how do they work?

Craig.

These are cash back websites. Once you sign up for an account on these, you may claim cash back on retailers as mentioned on the sites. Quidco will take first 5 pound of cash back from you while topcashback is free. All you have to do is search for a retailer(if it is there) and click on the link to buy something from them as per conditions and wait for your cashback.

Firstly, they are great :)

Basically it's all about affiliate linking and cash back. I've only use Quidco but in about 3 years iI've had over £300 of cash back from purchases at places like HMV, Zavvi, Play etc. and if you generally shop online then it's totally worth doing.

What happens is you signup (free) and then simply visit the online shop through a link on Quidco which "tracks" your purchase. That's then validated and once the merchant pays Quidco you get paid. The "cost" to you is £5/year that Quidco keep out of your savings, but you can EASILY save that in a single transaction.

HTH :)

Well worthi it if you buy from the web on a regular basis

I've been using Quidco for a few months and already saved around £60. I would recommend them.

I've heard good things about Topcashback as well
