Quick Select tool CS3

Im not sure how to make this image bigger, but can anyone help me with the problem, When im using the Quick select tool n then I change e.g. colours or the contrast etc, a white line etc appears around it making the image look wrong.

Can anyone help me please?

I'm sorry but I can't see from your image, is it the original colour still showing at the edge of your selection or something else? Did you feather the selection to soften the edge?
are you working on a single layer or more that one?

I am not entirely sure what you mean and the picture is too small to get an idea but the quick select tool is not the most accurate of items - is it fully selecting the edge of the object as if not that would give a strange result

Sorry, I didnt notice the link wasnt there, I put it in before I cant understand why its not come up. I`ll redo it.

Here it is, its the white band round the image i.e the flower petals.

I would guess it is a poor selection and that part of the petal was not selected.

Creat a mask using the quick select and then edit it to improve it and include the whole flower

Yep looks like it to me too.
