Are lower backpacks waterproof?

The ones that have AW mean all weather, they have a protective rain jacket that come out and cover the bag

The bag its self isnt waterproof, but you get the rain jacket

Got it cheap second hand so no jacket. Am now back in the car waiting for the next weather update

Have a close look at the bottom, there is a velcro strip which encloses the silver waterproof cover.

Hmmm, I though on all the AW bags the jacket was part of the bag itself so could not be removed.

I've been cursing the changeable weather today as I didn't know my new bag had the cover either :nuts:

I gave up and put the bag in the car, in the end I only used the 100-400 so cards in my pocket and filled every single one lol.

Defo no rain jacket in the bag
