Quick filter question..

...Roughly at what local length does vignetting stop being a problem on the normal Cokin P filter (the one that holds three filters opposed to the wide angle one that only holds the one filter)?

It's 100% fine on a Tokina 25-50mm full frame.

Interesting, the widest I'd be shooting at would be 24mm, it'd be worth just getting the original 3 slot one then?

You can buy extra holders for a couple of quid off ebay, not genuine Cokin but at that price who cares? That way you can have as many slots ready as you need, if necessary hacksawing down the holder to a number of slots you want.

I have used the 3 filter holder on a 16-85mm Nikon lens on a D300 and I think I only got slight vignetting below 18mm.
