What time is sunrise these days?

Thinking about going out getting some sunrise shots seeing as I'm awake, but it's usually light by the time I wake up..

Get yourself one of those weather clock thingies from comets or currys etc.

Some of them give sunrise and sunset times.

I think you can pick them up for about a tenner.

Sunrise is about 0805 for the rest of this year by the way!

I always check the 5 day weather on the BBC for sunrise/set times.

If using Firefox use the Forecastfox extension which can be configured to display these times in your browser window. This is a REALLY handy feature that I use every day (like today as I plan to fly later and saw this "window" appear in the browser a few days back).

www.weather.co.uk.

Enter your postcode and away you go.

Bear in mind, that the sunrise time, is the time it pops over the horizon. It gets lighter about an hour earlier than this, so you need to be set up and ready, a good hour before the sunrise time.
