Quick and easy slideshow?

I'm finding I'm having to make more and more slideshows at weddings, I have been using proshow which while good is slow and overkill for the quick and simple shows I need.
Can anybody suggest a simple and quick program that will make a very basic show with music, I don't need fancy titles or 500 fade options, something I can dump say 50 pics and a few songs into and Bob's your uncle.

Wow uncanny - I ran out of time to sort my other viewing for this morning. Windows Media Centre is currently playing in my viewing, it is absolutely elegant.

I stick an album on in the backdrop, have the MEDIUM speed for photos, press play and let it take care of the rest.

if you need to star rate the photos, this can be done within too.

Thanks for the reply, but we are on XP, ve tried vista when it first came out but had tons of problems trying to get it working as a network and getting it to talk to the printers, we gave up in the end and switched everything over to xp.

Actually not a bad idea, I have LR on the laptop anyway, and importing is quick enough with the few pics I'm using.

Sorry for the delay in replying, we had a burst watermain outside and lost internet for a few days.
