question regarding images/pictures on a kindle...

My partner has the new slim kindle & I'm wondering if these show images/pictures on them - just that I was looking at getting my paperback books on a kindle, only if it shows the images that are contained in the books... For example "Mastering the D700" I'm not bothered if they're in b/w (altho I would imagine that they would be on the kindle) but has anyone got that book on a kindle & are the images clear enough :shrug:

I know it seems a daft question but thought I'd ask here as am quite sure that some will have some sort of photography books on theirs...

Yes, it displays the images in B&W and they're perfectly clear.

Pictures are in quite low resolution and can sometimes be difficult to follow - particularly diagrams of a technical nature. If you have a Kindle and buy books for it you can also view them on your PC, tablet, iPad etc - in which case they can be viewed in colour and in better resolution.
