Yes
I've had a quick google - and when people ask about moving a catalogue they get the run down in the replies about where the raw files are etc etc etc and that's not part of the catalogue....

I know all that. :)

I know where my RAW files are - and don't want them to move, but I have a number of catalogues over various drives that I'd like to bring together in one place. If I move a catalogue - leaving the RAWs exactly where they are, will the catalogue still point to the same place and find the files, or will I have to go back in and tell it where the files are, although they themselves haven't moved?

Are there any issues with moving the catalogue itself?

Not that I'm aware of, I think the full path is stored in the catalog. The most positive way to check of course is to temporarily move one - open it and see.

That's what I'll do soon :) just thought I'd ask first in case I break anything. I'm good at that. :)

Is it worth creating a new catalogue then importing from another catalogue?

File -> Import from another catalogue

Nope you can just move catalogues as when you open lightroom, and it can't find the last one used, it asks which one you want to open

No issues, as long as you move them somewhere they can be opened (is not a network drive)
