Question For You Motorbikers

2 that I use. One a flip front (certified for both open and closed) and an open face (uncertified but doesn't get me pulled) that I can wear my hearing aids under. Both fit properly.

3, one with intercom fitted, one without and dark visor and one with clear visor. All Shoei X Spirit 3's.

I don't use any of them now as I have sold all my bikes..

Just one, until it smashes off something metal or concrete and then I'd buy another. Rinse and repeat three times. :D

I miss biking :(

Just one. Full face. I went over the bars and smashed my face up when I had a bike crash as a teenager, never trusted an open face helmet since.

just one at the moment an older shoei raid II with multiple visors, I find nowadays get one super comfy and stick with it.

From choice 2: one full face & one open face.

Just one, looking for a new one now

2 - My original LS2 flip which is a bit heavy and noisy and AGV Compact Flip which is very comfortable, light and quieter. AGV also has my BT headset for SATNAV.

Just one but I replace every three years as they do 'go off' over time.

Five, tbh a couple are probably due retirement through age though, eyeing up the new ruroc's but supply and qc issues off putting currently.

whatever one you have make sure = ear plugs
hearing damage very serious on motorbikes

Between two and four.

I have a LIDL one as a spare, though it is has little left of the usual five year lifespan left despite never being worn.

I have the one I have been wearing the last couple years, the upgraded version of it I bought a few months ago (but shielding has meant I have not been out in it yet), and the one it replaced but which is still usable so I have kept as another spare.

I have 3 carbon fibre ones. Its a bit like camera GAS. After a while you just have to have a new one.

One is a flip front which is convenient, one is a bit old, and the other is a brand new adventure stylee lid with a peak.

3, I still have my first but I used to get sore ears as it was tight fitting despite being professionally sized. I bought a Duchinni which I loved to replace it but I wrecked that one in a spill and I will never wear open face, I have no doubt it saved my life and I’m glad it was full face. I now have an AVG, Rossi rep, which I hope never to have to find out how good it is.

ive heard (excuse the pun)...that they are really noisy too

i have 2, both AGV's as they suit the shape of my head, ive had shoei and arai helmets in the past but found they were a bit uncomfortable after a whilst despite their really good build quality the only downside of them for me at the moment is the way AGV change visors...just find their new system fiddly so il look at an alternative when im due to replace next time

Well I have just bought a fourth one, a Bell Broozer. Now I have a helmet for every mood! I already own one Bell an MX9 Adventure Mips, and love it. This new one will be very different!

I ruined mine by putting it away damp, ended up covered in mould. Hardly mattered anyway, as I no longer have a bike.

I have one of these in the hall - plenty of space for hanging jackets etc. as well as a shelf to hold 2 lids and allow them to air.

More than any other item, a lid NEEDS to be tried on before buying. Ideally, wear it for a ride so you know how noisy it is.

I’ve already got the Berserker version of it. The Atlas would be quieter as it doesn’t have a peak.

I have 5, i wear different ones depending on which bike i'm riding.

I keep buying motorrad & schuberth helmets.....remember they are a tight fit for my head....go back to my shoei....then see another schuberth ....and so it goes on....to be fair the latest schuberth has a built in intercom which I like but its still a bit tight compared to other brands....maybe need a German shaped head....???

For those of you in the market for a new helmet....
