Just wondered if anyone with a D300 could clarify this, i want to make a custom setting for bracketing IE, i want to have a go at a few HDR photos as I've never done any before, so what i want to do is just put in a custom setting for bracketing 3 shots at 3 different settings, so rather than having to go in and do the settings every time can i just make a custom setting to do this, any feedback much appreciated

I've never done this, and have no idea if this is doable .. but can't this be done with the four different profiles / banks? Then just choose a different bank for each different setting?

I agree with puddleduck. You have to set up the exposure increment, sequence and No. of exposures when you need them. You cannot "store" a setting to my knowledge.

Yup, just checked the banks .. I thought it would have been possible to program each bank with different exposure settings ... not possible.

Put this into "something new learnt today" :)

Surely it only takes a few seconds to hit the bracket button and set what you want?

What you can select is the bracketing "distance" - 0.3, 0.7 or 1 EV. For HDR shots, I use 1EV spacings at -2,-1,0,1,2 EV.

Ok thanks for the feedback, i thought it was a bit of a long shot but worth asking the question
