No car driver ever lets you out, even if you have been indicating for 5 minutes, therfore you end up mm's away from the Tesco lorry in front before you can actually force your way out to overtake.
It takes an age to build up speed once you have backed off, so thats why lorrys are ofetn nose to tail.

Try driving a lorry for a bit and all you car drivers moaning will soon change your tune.
And another thing, I've had to go through an extended medical, an extended theory test, and extended driving test and in my job a 1 week course every 5 years on driving tankers.

I can assure you, I AM a better driver than you. :thumbs:

No, that term is reserved for people who think it is OK to abuse a group of people based only on what car they drive. You'll need to come up with something else.
 
i spend about 3 hours a day commuting along the M3/M27/A31 and lorries are nothing compared to some of the morons in cars and vans.. even motorbike riders are on my poo-list.

id say 70% of idiots ive come across are BMW drivers..

example, recently in a queue of traffic where roadworks had 2 lanes dropped to 1 i saw one BMW driver bully his way across into lane 1. but would he let anyone else patiently indicating to come across? he actively sped up and slowed down to prevent this.

Quite agree, like the pratt than nearly ran us over on a single track road when out walking with my Grandchildren!

Typical BMW driver who has recently got the car, old one or new one them buggers need to be shot......all BMW drivers are the same, they say they arent but they are all I OWN THE ROAD types:thumbsdown:

I get ****ing sick of all the abuse tbh.

Every time driving comes up abuise is levelled at BMW drivers. Yes, there are some bad ones but not all of us are.

im sure the BMW thing is because we all see (and probably also make our own) mistakes on the roads every day but because we have it ingrained into our heads that BMW drivers are ******s we see it and identify it. plus of course we all know that audis are the new BMW drivers ;)

Typical neanderthal truckers attitude (did i spell tr(*)uckers right?), we are bigger then you so the road belongs to us.
Only last month I nearly lost a good friend when a lorry driver didn't see him and forced him into a barrier, between the lorry and the railing, totalling his car. Ooooops sorry mate, I didn't see you, as my pal was being cut from his motor.

I apologise in advance for the implied use of bad languge, but lorry drivers stating emphatically ' We are better drivers then you, really winds me up'.

The number of people that have gone out of their way to make sure I do not pull out into traffic, or indeed pull into a lane is unreal. Never noticed it when I drove a saab but now I get it a lot.

I do believe a lot of it is down to the stigma people have in their heads about the badge - personally I think they need to grow up a bit :shake:
