Quantuum LED Continuous light...

I haven't seen that particular one, but I have had a very close look at several others.

In the future LED, without a doubt, will take over from fluorescent lighting, and even flash, as far as beginners are concerned, but it isn't there yet.
Current problems are excessive heat, inadequate light output, very low CRI and discontinuous spectrum colour, all of these problems make it a very good idea IMO to wait for the next generation...

The technology does already exist, it's being used for very clever, high end lights used in TV and film studios, but that technology - and its cost - is a million miles away from that of the cheap lights sold for amateur use.
 
Thanks Garry...I use a 7 day shop bank for general use...handy to catch focus in the dar etc if having probs,,,but first time Id seen this one...
