Got a couple of these coming second hand to try out. Wanted a little more power than speedlights with similar portability.

Any suggestions about good modifiers etc that I should be looking at. Fancy a soft box style addition if one exists.

Saw on another thread that I can use Lumadyne packs or quantum ones for powering. So got to get something sorted here.
 
I've got the QF-68 which is the softbox for the QFlash. Nice and small and gives very soft light. You can always just use an umbrella as well.

To power my QFlash I just the Lumedyne Tiny Cycler power pack and that works fine. A lot smaller than the Quantum ones

Thanks. Got a lumedyne power pack from TFC second hand and got some cables for my elinchrom triggers shipping from flash zebra.

The lumedyne works fine with the T2 but doesnt like the T2D. It might be a little light on power and the T2D just a little more sensitive.???. Not sure yet.

Will take a look at robert white tonight. Also seeing if FITP's softbox will fit once I can do some measurements.
 
I got a second hand mini cycler which cost me £150. It definitely doesnt like the T2D but is happy on the T2.

Thanks for the link for the chimera attachment. Looks good. Also notice lastolite do a fitment for their easyboxes which is something.

Goal this weekend is to measure up for FITP to see if one of his will fit.
