Does anyone know if Quality Photo on Amazon are UK based?

I was looking at the Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens on Amazon and it says Sold by Quality Photo and Fulfilled by Amazon.

I would like to be able to get Canon cashback and wanted to find if they sell UK sourced lenses or am I better off ordering from Amazon themselves.
 
By the contact phone number they have listed they dont look like they are UK based.

Was in the same situation when I bought my 430 EX II on Amazon (had £200 of gift vouchers so had no other options). The banner under the product saying save £x only displays under Amazon.co.uk supplied products. I went t purchase it two days ago and it was only available from the other sellers, so i waited and then the next day Amazon had it in stock so I ordered. Can't be dealing with dodgy imports/warranty etc.

Yes your right, amazon fufilled means they proberly hold stock from Quality Photo in their warehouses but if Quality Photo ship them over from the States then they may not eligible for the Canon Cash Back promotion

I asked DigitalRev who ship from Hong Kong and they made it quite clear that their lens are not eligible for the cash back promotion

The OP could always email Quality Photo to clarify, there is a contact us link next to the phone number

Not only have I searched on Amazon & google but I've called them and they still can't tell me where the lens originiated from - or where Quality Photo is based.

They did confirm that the lens will be shipped from their warehouse and not the seller's.

Also, looking at the Quality Photo search findings from google, there seems to be a different store in US and doesn't sound the same, Quality Photo on Amazon have a very good rep while the US store has nothing but complaints on the web.

I've gone off the idea of buying this lens as it's not an L and isn't long enough for me but I'm still curious & as Steve said
