Has anyone any experience with quadcopters? I'm wanting one to mount one of my Hero3's I have just ordered and I shoot a lot of sports like mountain biking and windsurfing. Are there any quadcopters out there that offer a separate control for moving the camera as well as controlling the copter? Also would if such thing is out there is it possible for the one person to control both? I'm a big fan of radio controlled aircraft so I think I should catch on with using it pretty quickly so ease of use doesn't really bother me.

As of my budget, to be honest I don't know what I'm looking for so I'm unsure of the prices they are going for. I'm pretty flexible for price though as me and a friend are splitting the price. Any help would be appreciated.

Was thinking about this at Xmas time but it is loads o' dosh !

phantom quadcopter seems to be the popular choice for gopro. not cheap though.

I have a dji phantom. It's great fun and quite happy with a go pro underneath. For a quad they are very cheap. But to get good quality video you need to spend as much again and some serious time on it. The
Only way to make it stable enough for good video is to balance the props, add guards to them and wire in a gimbal head for the camera. You won't need to fly it in GPS mode either.

They are great fun, and you can make fun videos out of the box. But for quality videos you need to spend the time and money. You can pick them up new for £300-£350, then add the costs of modding
