Hi! I'm relatively new to TP and have only recently bought my first digital (preferring to use film).

Saw a comment by you saying you'd looked at the exif on an image. I'm guessing that exif is the info the camera stores about settings BUT how do you look at it on a posted pic? Can I do it?

Hello, perhaps i can answer in a quicker time scale.

You can download a good exif plug in for internet explorer, that allows you to right click and image and get the information if it's available.

There are a few different ones. I use Opanda Iexif which is free.

edit.The exif is removed by some programs during editing so not every picture will have the info in it.
