Stuck a roll of 200 ASA Fomapan B & W film in my Rangefinder and forgot to set the film speed so it was still at 100. Aaarrgh :bonk:

No - should I ask the lab to pull this one stop to correct it - is that right?

Any ideas on which mail order labs can do this?

Thanks!

If it's a hassle for you finding a decent lab to do this, you should be OK processing as normal if your exposures aren't much less than 1stop under box speed

I don't know if you were using your Yashica Ministers to meter with, but my Minister III meters about 2 stops out (I get better exposure on iso 200 film if I set the meter to iso 50). Either way, if you're just using the selenium meter to expose by, the difference between normal development and pulling 1 stop may not be too noticeable.

Any lab that develops B&W should be able to push/pull.

The Darkroom will do push/pulling for free and I know that Peak Imaging also do it for a small charge, about £1.10 if I remember.

However for Fomapan 200 I'm not sure if it would be necessary, it doesn't seem to quite reach ISO 200 according to most who shoot it regularly and they recommend exposing it at ISO 160 or even ISO 125. Trying it at both those and 200 on the same roll made me agree.
