Anyone have any experience with purely gadgets?

Are they a reputable online store?
 
Yup, stuff is grey, no problems with the stuff I bought from them, so I can't comment on after sales. One thing though, I bought an MB-D80 from their website, but someone else I know bought it from them via Amazon for £15 less a week later.......
 
After sales is very poor in my experience sorry to report and because of that I won't pass anymore business to them because sometimes price isn't everything.
 
The lens I was looking for costs roughly £50 cheaper than other UK website.. If I buy the lens from them, will they give VAT receipt?
 
I used them for purchasing a Nikon Flash as they were loads cheaper than anywhere else. I have no idea if the Flash was a grey import but to be honest for a Flash that doesn't bother me! My purchase went smoothly, and the Flash was delivered quickly, I had no problems so I can't comment on their customer service. Price isn't everything but it does go a very long way! I would use them again to buy accessories and lens, would probably stick to mainstream definately UK sourced supplies for bodies.
 
I've bought 2 compact cameras from them, and did not have any problems. No idea if they were grey imports. They certainly didn't look like it to me.
 
I ordered a Sandisk Extreme III Cf card from them last week which was delivered yesterday with no problems.

Sorry but what is "IIRC" ?

I'll give them a ring tomorrow to confirm they give vat receipt.
