weekly Puckers 2013 52 thread: Week 30: step(s) & Week 31: Mono added

Lovely shot

Love everything about this, the lighting, the depth of field, the focus on the droplet

Hi there,

Great snowflake shot, especially if you were handheld! I love the detail on the snowflake and the general composition.

I don't like the 'Gravity' shot quite as much. I feel the whole thing is slightly underexposed so you lose the leading edge of the leaf and therefore the 3D nature of the leaf. Obviously, this is just me opinion and I know how difficult I find it to get macro shots like this...

Cheers,
Drew

Hi ya

edited version....SORTED...LOVE IT

Week 4: Wild.

Last minute effort from me, since all forms of wildlife round my house have gone awol at the mo i took a walk to the local park for the trusty seagulls. Couldn't think of anything different and all i could think of all week was wildlife  was hoping to get out somewhere nice but sadly it hasn't worked out.

Also had my lovely doggies with me, not sure if this ones classed as wild or

Really like the seagulls image. Nice PP, and the image has great focus and some feeling of movement in it too.

Well done

I like the way you have bth birds there, one in flight and the other on it's way

Hi Lisa, just having a look through the pics I have missed, I like your gravity pic, nice composition and looks better with the stray bit cloned out. I like the colours, if anything it is a little dark on my screen.

Lisa, your bird shots is amazing, sharp focus in flight is tremendous.
You dog is a lovely composition, looking wild and full of energy. Great colours, focus and theme.

Week 5: Space

Who had thought some space as pretty as this is right next to the M1? I LOVE this tree, as you might see if you look into my flickr account

My other ideas didn't work out, first I was going to try a rugby shot about looking for space and going forward but we didn't go to a senior match on Sat and my sons tag rugby match on Sunday didn't get me what I wanted. So then I thought ok ill shoot the moon but then it decided to hide behind clouds :bang: So I came to this as we was going past it today...

I feel like I'm at a really happy, good space. by puckers52, on Flickr

Beautifully crafted landscape shot there Lisa with some really nice shots on Flickr too. Really liking your other 52 images as well.

Ian.

Really lovely shot, Lisa, fits the theme but the quality of the shot is what counts for me!

Like the space shot, particularly contrast of the tree against the sky - I was thinking the sky could be a bit more "interesting" but then actually I think that might take away from photo overall...

Lovely tree - great for space theme too... Looks like it's got some great detail in the trunk too.

Great find. I'll have a longer wander through your flickr when I have the time!

Really like this, excellent comp and PP.

Hi Lisa

Wild 1....well caught , nice high key image , good sense of movement  Quite like the pooch pic as well but the colors look a tad strong to me on the forelegs & something weird going off with the teeth...showing on my monitor as grey ?

Space....as someone on a mission to get the perfect Lone Tree I can say nothing other than I  it

Beautiful tones and lovely simple composition. What a great looking tree too!
