Gateshead vs Tamworth at Gateshead
Both in BSP
Their stadium is an international athletics ground with a capacity of around 11,000, that's always going to make for a sparse looking crowd at BSP level, particularly a club like Gateshead which doesn't have an excellent fan-base.Very sharp images. What was the crowd? Lots of empty seats by the look of it.

Yes, that was always something I enjoyed when I was still a regular photographer there, being able to actually get more than a handful of decent images after dark is quite the novelty at non-league level! You certainly can't do it at Croft Park or Hillheads (or any of the other lower league stadia up here)...Crowd was around 1100
I moved to try and get some fans in background in the first half but not alot in the second
Impressed with the floodlights though thats for sure
Yes, I did squeeze a few shots out of the Gateshead game after the light had gone, you don't need to totally give up. To be fair to Blyth, their lights are probably better if they turn them all on, they seem to just turn on two of the four on each tower.Croft park is possible if you adjust your style slightly and use the light on offer, boxes are dark though which is a shame
ISO4000 or 5000 at Croft park and shutter speed of 400 is what I can manage depending on location
Use NikonDo you have any post processing secrets as regards noise reduction?

I did Whitley Bay a couple of weeks ago, now that was a battle once the sun went down! You can squeeze maybe 1/320th or maybe 400th at a push but that's with 6400 ISO, which I really hate resorting to.
