Forgive me this little indulgence, but I've finally been published! :D

I took the photo at the May WHF meet, then just thought I'd submit it to the Practical Photography / Digital Photo POTY 'Black & White' round. Who'd have thought it would get shortlisted and printed :lol: - I don't even think it's that great a photo :lol:

Happy days, now to wait for my Jessops £150 voucher so I can go spending, without actually spending! :D

Nathan: Because I'm very critical of myself and don't think much of most of the stuff I do. I submitted two photos to that comp, and I personally thought the other one was much better :)

One thing you will learn with editors is they never pick the shot you think is the best.

Heh ;) Well I have entered this months round... and judging by the little method I discovered last month which indicates if you're likely to have your image shortlisted it looks like mine may be in the reckoning again this month!

Heh, yeah - for those who haven't been watching the WHF thread in the Meeting Place section, there was a little theory that any references to TP would get cut out of my '100 words' that I had to send them.
Not only did they cut out the TP mention I added, they've also downgraded my lens from a 70-200mm f2.8L IS II to the original model :'( Damn them :bat: :lol:
