Thought I'd add mine to the list.

I've got a little feature in the January '07 issue. I haven't seen the issue yet, as the US is at least a month behind on this UK-based magazine. The editor asked me to be their first photographer in a feature called "Five Things I Can't Live Without." It's my second feature in this magazine (first was a six-page spread in Dec 2004) and I highly recommend submitting work to this magazine if you're interested in publishing B&W images. Ailsa and her crew are wonderful to work with.

Aha, nice one. Bet you would. Currently, every penny I earn from imagery is going towards a Canon 400mm 2.8 IS. Not long now....:thinking:
 
Diego, I just had my current largest portrait sale at $13K US (I'm a bit excited about it and taking a friend out for a fantastic dinner tonight!) and the funny thing is that as a film shooter, I really don't have any equipment wants to spend it on. No, I like to keep it simple with my old, mechanical gear. LOL. I don't want a camera that's smarter than me.

Thanks. H.R., looks like I'll just miss the London meet scheduled in March. Ah, well. I'll be in Brighton teaching a workshop, and will be wandering aimlessly through the UK for most of the month, so maybe I'll run across some of you.

Wooo! :) I'd be out celebrating too. 13k. Well done. I think we normally pop the champagne around here when someone manages to sell a photo for 50 pence or something. :D

Kamion, believe you me, the champagne has been popped. We pounce on the opportunity here. It's nearly 3AM and I'm still a-popping. ;) Has nothing to do with the sale, though. My husband, a sports photog, is out of town at the Stuporbowl in Miami, and the kids are away, leaving me to work all night and hang out with my band friends. Let the wine flow.

Ahh the superbowl. I really do miss American football sometimes. I don't miss it enough to stay up all night to watch it this Sunday though. So you are a family of photogs!
