Hopefully the title got some attention
I was just reading this BBC News article and it got me wondering what the general view on this debate is?
Personally I'm amazed that we can label our own bodies as sources of alarm or distress.
We criticise some cultures/religions where woman are forced to cover up but as a society deem it unacceptable to be completely uncovered.
It's OK for a toddler to run naked on a beach but it's not acceptable for an adult to do the same.
We have paintings and statues of naked people all over country and they're completely acceptable but the real thing somehow isn't.
Seriously, who gets offended by seeing someone naked? It just seems such a hopelessly prudish attitude for our society to have developed. Why can people not see the distinction between nudity and sexual behaviour?
