So not such a bargin:razz:

i thought it seemed a bit cheap too. i am thinking of getting one of these myself. only problem with them is that they do not play the psp umd games. the only games these play are downloadable ones from the playstation website. so you cannot go and buy preowned titles from game or gamestation.

I thought that on-line companies were honour bound to supply goods at the shown price, mistake or not. :rules:

Nope - that's an urban myth I'm afraid. Many companies will honour the price a customer service gesture, but they aren't bound to as long as they immediately update the advertised price.

Nope, companies are free to refuse to sell anything to anybody. An advertised price - even a sticker on a pair of M&S pants - is 'an invitation to treat'. There is no legal compulsion for the vendor to sell at the advertised price.

Any shop online or not can refuse a sale until money has been exchanged, as play had not charged me they could cancel the order.

this is in there small print

Please note: This is an 'open' order and has not been processed by our dispatch department. No contract for the sale of any product will subsist between you and Play.com until Play.com dispatches the product(s) ordered
