I always shoot in RAW, and I've always used PSE, now 7, to do my post processing. But, I've been reading lots of good things about Canons own Digital Photo Professional. Has anybody had experience of using both of these applications?

I shoot in raw pretty much exclusively and open the files up in DPP first. I then go through them, applying any white balance/exposure/lens correction tweaking as necessary and 'check marking' the ones I want to keep or process further. Then I batch convert the check marked files to tiff for further work in PSE7 (levels, saturation, sharpening etc.). I find DPP to be very quick and easy to use and much prefer it to Adobe's wotsit for raw processing.

Thanks Dudie

Pete
