I use Elements 10 and have found when I try to run the Auto analyser, that I get the following message. Auto-Analyzer has skipped one or more file(s) because of potential errors.

Just wondering if there is a way around it? I have noticed that it only seems to show on images taken with a 7d. Those on the 40d are fine  Might there be something in the camera settings?

Any thoughts :help:

No problems opening into RAW and I'm not doing anything different from when I was using the 40d with makes me think that perhaps a camera setting if preventing them being run.

I'd not used it since switching cameras and thought as a quicker way of getting deleting the unwanted images (blurred etc). I'd use the analyser.

They are not sraw by any chance? just wondered if theres a compatability issue or something, have you tried resetting photoshops preferences?

i'm afraid i can't offer any help with this as i've never used / heard of auto analyzer, so i ran it through some of my shots and it said this was blurred  which i can kind of understand - but i certainly wouldn't want it to be trashed. So i'm wondering how fool proof / effective it really is or whether it's just safer and in the long run quicker to just flick through and bin the shots you feel don't hit the mark manually.

I'd still go through them but just a way of narrowing stuff down to start with. You're right though, can be miss leading

I can check the preferences Wayne but alls not lost, at least I can still work with it.

Thanks for your help
