I did a merge to HDR in Photoshop CS3 then tried to save it as .jpg. However the only options on the list are Large Doc Format, Open EXR, Portabel Bitmap, Radiance and TIFF. No sign of a JPEG option! How do I do it?
Another thing I noticed was when the .psd image was open in Photoshop, under image adjustments the brightness/contrast, highlights and shadows were greyed out and some others also.
Help please

Don't think you can save as a jpg if the image has more than one layer, try flattening it first then it should save as jpg.

As Giovanni has said, you need to flatten the image (put it all on a single layer, not make it lifeless!) before saving as a JPEG. Saving for web can remove EXIF (among other things) and is a bit clumsier than saving to JPEG and adjusting the slider to get the file size you're after IMO.

Just to add to Nod's bit (and that's how I do it), if you change the name of the file when saving to jpeg, you will have a .psd and a jpeg, so you can go back to the .psd for more editing if you need to. The grey-outs may be due to the file being 16 bit. Alter it to 8 bit and see if that changes things (Image>mode> x bits/channel)
