But you can get on a public internet forum? Okaay.

There is no reason to buy the older FAT unless you want Linux support.

the 60gb fat one is the only one that will play PS2 games, all the others had this facility removed

digital audio output is better on new slim, for those who like that sort of stuff. SACD is not present on new models either i dont think.
