PS3 60GB (PS2 Compat.) @ CEX

Popped into my local CEX today and saw that they had a 60GB PS3 @ £195.
I believe that CEX give a 12 month warranty on purchases.
So, is this a good deal / worth getting?

I'd like a PS3, but am not desperate for one, and what kinda puts me off is that the newer models dont support PS2 games. OK, you may question why you would want to play inferrior PS2 games on a PS3.....
Well, we (rather, my wife and daughter) have more or less the entire catalogue of Singstar and my son has all the buzz games, so it would be a shame to see that "investment" gone to waste.

Not too sure if that seems a bit pricey or not mate. Considering the new slimline ones around that price?

Reliabilty wise, I bought mines when that model came out, and it is still working perfectly *touch wood*. I still play the ocassionaly PS1 game on mines lol.
 
As you say the 60gb is the only one that will play PS2 games, however another option would be to look at the prices of the other versions of the PS3 and see if buying one of those + an old slim PS2 would be more beneficial.

Plus, you can use the PS3 when you like as everyone else will be playing on the PS2 :D
