PS Elements 8.

Had the camera a couple months now & I've still got a lot to learn

I've now bought PSE8 to try and "rescue" some shots.

Here is a shot straight out of the camera & after I've had a go at editing.

Is it ok or have I overdone it ???
Should I be getting better pictures from the camera ???

thats actually quite impressive, i dont think i could do something like that (although i dont shoot landscapes) but even if i tried i couldnt get a shot like that. is it HDR by any chance as it has a hit of bigger dynamic range.

Don't think you could call it HDR, it's only 1 picture, imported to PSE8 then play with the levels. That's if I understand HDR, isn't that more than 1 picture combined ???
