Property Marking

can anyone suggest the best methods of property marking cameras, lenses and a laptop? The laptop I would think could be engraved on the underside of the case, but I'm a bit lost for ideas for cameras and lenses. UV pens maybe and write the postcode on? I KNOW when I ring our insurance company to let them know about the new camera they are going to tell me (again!) that I need to get everything property marked, but they can't suggest any ways to do it!

my old work microdotted all there IT equipment seems to be fairly cheap and recognised by most insurance companies

Not sure I would want an item back if nicked, as you never know how it's been knocked about etc. Obviously not applicable to personal items of sentimental value.

Ahh - yes, can't imagine why I'd not thought of this - the latest lorry we bought at work has been given this treatment - extremely clever!
