I've been asked to do a series of prom shots for a friends daugher and her friends prom in July.
The backdrop will be a garden with trees, bushes and flowers etc.
I'll be using my 40D and have a 430EXII flash. Lens wise I have a Tamron 17-50 f2.8, 50mm f1.8 and Canon L 70-200 f4.
I'll be taking the photos around 4:30om and hoping for decent light and weather. If it's a dry day and I could get hold of some lighting would it be worth it over using natural light and a 430 flash?
Total novice as this kind of stuff but it's great experience with a bunch of willing models. Plus I want the picture to look great for them.
