Yes
I have a Prolinca 125 flash head, I believe these are the same as/made by Elinchrom..

Can anyone point me in the direction of a cheap softbox please, tall and thin rectangular...

Thanks,
Sam

Or source for any suitable softboxes?
Struggling to find anything suitable..

Sam

Nah, I can find plenty of ones that fit Elinchrom, but the Prolinca ones look to have a different fitting :(

Thanks anyway.

Dont have pics to hand, but more searching and it sounds like it might be the same as the Elinchrom EL fitment.. Which (apparently) has been the same since 1979, so all modifiers should work.

Hmmm.

More research is needed!

Right, the dish on the front has fittings like these:

Does anyone have an Elinchrom flash, and is it similar?

Thanks again,
Sam

Me and those that I have shown you can get with an elinchrom speedring........

Brilliant :)
Will try and find somewhere/someone local that has some elinchrom bits so I can be 100% sure.

Thanks for all the help!

Sam

Prolinca was the budget Elinchrom range, the speedring is exactly the same as Elinchrom, so you don't need to check

Thanks you Garry :)
Going to order a 200x40 softbox in the next few days.. The prolinca flash will last me until I feel ready to spring for something better.

As Garry said before the mount is the same. The Rotalux softbox however has the mount shallower, but thats not a major difference and would still work.
