Projector advise!

Hello!

Now, this is an area I'm completely new to - I want to get some sort of projector, preferably for the iPad but if not just standard connection to a mac will be fine. Looking on eBay, they're are some for about 40£ Whichseems alright to test the waters, so to speak!

So, any pointers if anyone at all? I do know you only get what you pay for, but for £49 for a projector doesn't sound too bad, eve. If the quality is only like the old fashioned vga fat TVs!

Brightness, quality of the image, cost of the replacement bulb and the connectivity are all things you need to consider, plus how many hours are on the bulb.

I've about 3 at the moment. We've got a full hd projector in the cabin onto a screen, plugged into the Xbox. 106" TV screen for gaming

We've a couple of spare xga ones, a Sanyo Plc-XU305, used to be ceiling mounted in my wires training room, never used, maybe 50 hours max.

The second I want to keep as it's really portable, an optima ex7155e, only 68 hours on the bulb.

Both are 3k lumens which are bright enough to work without having the room darkened. I.e. I've just fired the optima up easily at this time of night onto the lounge wall to check.
