Can anyone offer advice on a suitable pc attached projector, the Epson we currently use never seems sharp. It's a 1024 x 768 resolution and attaches via a monitor cable.

Are there anv advantages to hdmi connect in terms of handling varying pc resolutions etc as my own laptop for example is a widescreen and differs to that above.

Some idea of your budget would be helpful. You can spend £200 on a projector, or £20,000.
 
OK Budget is sub £1000, usgae is for a camera club approx 20 members with images projected in village hall blinds re available on the windows
 
TBH, for only 20 people, I would have said that a big telly was possibly a better bet. The only downside would be ease of transport.
 
I have a Benq MW523 and find it very good. It should suit your budget and is very very bright so can be used in a!bient light.
