Thought popped in my head and it hurt like made.

Small ABS box with switches mounted inside. Rectangular hole cut in lid with thin rubber glued into it underneath. Push whatever button you have through the rubber ?

Just a thought :D

We need the buttons to be large and secure really as well as weatherproof. The buttons we have bought are ideal if it was not for the fact that one of the buttons needs to be DPDT rather than the SPST ones. The button I got from Maplin should be enough really..
 
Just a quick update Darren, the batteries are being prepared for dispatch, will let you know when they are on there way to you
 
...and aplogies from me for the utterly biff-accounting - my GF has now agreed to take this on in future as she can tell the difference between incoming and outgoing transactions...

She already empties my wallet with bewildering (German ) efficiency...:(

I have a spreadsheet with each and every incoming and outgoing transaction listed and then the balances so we can see if they balance. With the two promised bt donations which are on route we have JUST broken back into the black. Just!

Well we have a hand over date for Wheels' camera platform which will be Tuesday next week.

We will need to sort out the logistics in relation to Nat's next :)
 
Oh and to everyone that has donated, we are not too far off having ALL the stuff for a THIRD camera platform for a wheel chair !!!!

We are only short of a 222 joystick head which costs £56+vat and we now have just over £10 towards it so with a bit of luck I can increase the order with Digital Depot and add another one and then we have a full setup ready.

Note the change of title as this is technically project three !

This is truly amazing, words fail me, I've just caught up with Wheel magic chair thread and also found the link to this one.
The generosity of members on this forum is like nothing I have ever encountered.
Knowing that that there is enough in the kitty to build the kit for Nattelie is awesome.

There IS now enough to complete Nat's project PLUS we have been buying extra bits and receiving extra bits.......

We only need about £100 to FINISH project four ie the 3rd disabled photography platform. THAT is how generous our members have been.

The whole thing is fantastic, I am so made up that Nattelie is having more or less the same platform we will both be mobile photo studios.
