Project 52....by Kennysarmy + week 27 Highlight

Very well spotted. I normally have a bit of an anti crop mantra. More care in capturing the shot at the time blah blah blah, however, on this occasion i think this would be improved by taking out that top line of sills. Just my opinion obviously.

Good shot well processed, and meets the theme well. I agree with David, cropping out that top line of sills improves the image, I find they distract from the clock.

That's a great shot and fits the theme and I like the way you left the words at the bottom to help give it a bit more impact for the theme...

Looks like a shot from times past as well as of a time piece - the processing you've used ages the shot really well!

I've looj at it with and without that top sill and my view is leave it in - it simply (for me) adds more character to the building and image!

Good spot, good shot!

This is a really well seen shot, beautiful old clock, above the watchmakers, fits the theme perfectly. Like the processing too.

Mark

PS Apologies for not commenting on all your shots, these 52's take some keeping up with, I'll try harder in future:bonk:

Complex - 100% the sculpture for me. I actually like the man being in frame and did get that he was working on the sand sculpture straight away - I think he adds to the shot as a whole

I'm not anti-crop at all and I agree with what Dizzy said about the sills. I really like the PP you've done on this one, it looks very authentic to me

What a great shot and well spotted. I love the processing and wouldn´t crop it as I think it frames the picture nicely with the sills at the top and the sign at the bottom :clap::clap:

 I have to agree with Ruth, excellent work

I like that, fits the theme well and tells a story.

I can only agree with what's already been said, a great interpretation.

Mark:thumbs:

Works for me:thumbs:

OOh great shot - simple and really to the point! The anonymous nature of the subject adds to the feel of the shot!

Very much like this one :)

Ah the old Spectrum...

Now that's going back a bit...

I like the overall shot with the new oof in the b/g.

but it's not your best shot so far although theres nothing really wrong with it, you have do much better...Jeff...sorry...

ZX Spectrum, eh??? That's going back a bit. But then we've still got a BBC Model B in the loft!

Great interpretation of the theme - computers have developed beyond anybody's imagination in the last 30 years. You've probably stirred up a load of memories for all us 'oldies'. I think I would like to have seen a little more of 'today', but it's still a shot to make us think and smile.

Jean

My ZX died... Nicely done... I like it.

I like the theme, but the composition doesn't do anything for me...sorry

While I agree the composition lacks a bit, not sure at all what I would have done differently.

Its a great idea though, I haven't seen one of these in years.

Complex:
Love the rigging shot as it meets the theme and has great colour and clarity. I like the sand sculpture because it is in B&W which makes you really look! clever.

Time:
This is a lovely clock, how lucky you are to have it near you, another great capture.

Inspiration: This has lovely dof and again meets the theme. It is probably my favourite in terms of composition of the four weeks I am trying to catch up on!!

Development: Aaaaahhh I remember them well, how soon time has marched on and the tchnological world has developed. Nice thought for the theme.

sorry it has taken this long for me to catch up.

I like this Kenny, a bizarre clash between the Zebra and an English country pile, not a bad shot at all Sir.

:D, clever and shows the theme nicely... I'm afraid that comouflage just don't work on lush green grass, so free they might be, but easy to spot too

I don´t know what happened to me last wekk but I seem to have missed loads of people out, you included :(

I used to love playing on the Spectrum when i was ´studying´for my finals  and remember a great game where you had to get a frog to jump from tile to tile but can´t remember what it was called :shake:

Good interpretation of the theme but the composition is a bit 'blocky' if that makes sense

As for Freedom, they certainly seem fine wandering around the stately pile, gently grazing. Good choice :clap:

:agree:. Those horses must have taken hours to paint! ;)

This is a very odd shot, but it works very well for me. It should feel out of place but so how it works...

I also fits in well for the theme...

The more I look at it the better it gets...

This is yet another technically great shot from you. I love the contrasting colours with the sky, architecture and animals/grass.

The horses are free to roam, and the fact that they look out of place makes me think of the fact that their freedom is limited, only in their natural habitat would they be truely free. I good thought provoking shot, well done.

But stunning even at this size, that is a brilliantly striking shot. Excellent!!

Bit of a catch up here:

Development: Ah nicely done and given we're all tapping away at these things very apt indeed :) Good shot - simple and to the point

Freedom: As has been said a bizarre juxtaposition - nicely taken and composed

Night: Thats a good un - love the moonlight clouds adding a touch of drama! Nice calming shot and well suited to B&W! Good one :)
