program for stacking

i have photoshop cs5 but not sure if you can do it on that or if its the best so would just like some suggestions for other programs, free is of course better but i don't mind paying if there are none

would be a bonus if you could stitch images together also

Combine ZP is free but has a tendency to put a mirror image round edge of your image. Will need cropping which might cause problems.

I use Zerene but you have to buy that.

Don't know of anything that stacks and stitches. Could be useful for landscapes!

zerene has a free trial so got that for now, what programs are there 2 stitch?

Stitching adds another magnitude of complexity because the viewpoints rarely align perfectly. I use Zerene, it's good stuff. Have a google for material about zerene retouching and slabbing, very good things about Zerene
