Profile fails to load

I am doing some work for a guy today and his pc has just came up with this statement

" user profile will not load"


Any ideas on a solution?
 
yeah doing this on anything Vista or newer is a total pee take compared to what it was on XP. You have to find the GUIDs in the registry and then delete them, effectively orphaning the profile. Only THEN can you actually rebuild the profile folder - if you try to do it the same way as an XP profile rebuild it just loads you a temp profile.
