I;ve just used Lee for the 1st time and can only say I am very very impressed with his customer service

Lee offered to clone part of an image for me on an A3 canvas as it would have cropped both the dogs head and paws, I resent him and image and he did a final tweek for me to ensure everything fitted, I also had some 18x12 prints done and they where all fantastic

recommended to everyone :)

Right, I've submitted a 24x16. Cheapest so far of the companies I've tried- nice one.
 
:woot: my TogsPrint Competition Prize Print 20"X 16" that I won in a recent Togsprint Competion arrived today. its fantastic, Im over the moon with it, I cant wait to get a mat and frame for it tomorrow, I will be getting more prints off Lee, the next time I get some done as the quality is great. :clap:

Lee,I am getting seriously pee`d off now mate.The money went from my account some while ago and the product still has not arrived.Not answering your phone or returning calls is not the answer mate.Should I come over and get them?

Whatever, the problem needs sorting sooner rather than later.

There's been much intimation that this is in inappropriate way to raise issues with this vendor, e.g. on here publicly.

I disagree. I think this is exactly the ideal place providing words are kept civilised.

If a vendor wants to make good, here, publicly, is an place where no whitewash cover up can occur. Transparency is the only way.
 
Make no mistake,I am pleased with the service that I get from Lee for my prints,very pleased.This problems relates to something else.

I have known Lee for quite some time and would not usually post like this on a forum,however,it seems that it is the only way to exert some pressure.

Let me reiterate,the quality and service that I get from Lee for all my printing requirements is very good,this is for a different product,bought and paid for but not yet received.
 
I ordered a 16x12 canvas print from Lee on Monday night and it arrived yesterday! Very quick service, and as always looks brilliant.

Thanks to an attempted break in last night, vandals have left our office with no comms. The physical BT lines and hard line used for our internet access has been cut.

The service providers are working on a solution as we speak. At present, we have no phone service nor internet (I'm typing this through GPRS which isn't ideal).

FTP'ing of files direct to us is impacted but should be resolved shortly.

Fortunately not.

Hats off to BT - they got the telephony side of things up and running very quickly. They're doing tests as we speak but should be operational before 7PM tonight.

Yep - frame is ready but frame chevrons not done (or the pricing structure yet). I've just not had time.

But yes - the silver frame is ready. I may be in your neck of the woods on Thursday if you want me to drop it off?

Waiting for my first canvas from Lee which should be here tomorrow, it was a bespoke size but that wasn't a problem for him.

I was delighted with a big print I got the other day, its suprising how much better things look when they are printed!
 
Had a couple of canvasses the other day from Lee and was really pleased with them, it even made me look good :lol: so much so, I've got another few orders coming from that customer :thumbs:

Firstly - an apology. I've had no time to 'bump' this thread recently - we've had so much going on in the workshop!

Secondly - we're really looking forward to the TP convention. It's going to be great to meet some of the personalities on here - having read a lot on here this year, taking product advice from the full time togs and trying to help those on their photographic journey I think it'll be a great networking event for us all ;)

Canvasses
We've been running some special offers for quite some time now. Namely, the 16"x12" stretched canvasses at £22.50. Sadly, we can't run them at this any longer. The prices have slowly creeped up from our main canvas supplier and it has a knock on effect. So as of sunday 20th September, the price will be up to £26.50. Not a massive price increase and those of you who have had canvasses from us before know that the quality of the product is worth every penny - be it for your own wall or that of your clients...!

The other canvas prices are ok at present and we have no desire of putting them up again any time soon!

Picture framing
togsPrint made a large investment recently - that is we bought out a picture framer, took his business under our wing, pulled out the good bits, threw out the bad bits and are now pushing picture frames out of all windows and doors! We're able to frame the SAME DAY prints up to 60" down the longest side. We are keeping in stock Arqadia and Simons moulding of around 30 different ranges, mountboard in 10 different shades and 3 types of glass from standard float to museum optical quality. We've got some website development ongoing at present to allow you to build your own frame online basically :)

But please please - if you want to give something a try - single or multi aperture then give us a call. We love a challenge!

We'll be putting sample packs online shortly. These will be chevron samples of our moulding and mountboard for those of you wanting to see what we can actually offer as opposed to images online :)

We've been helping some photographers out recently where they need to ease their cash flow a little. Being photographers and having a studio ourselves, we know that clients only pay on receiving the goods that they're happy with. For us this isn't a problem - but for people not printing in house, this can mean outlaying several hundred pounds in products. This can sometimes leave them with no money for a few days, sometimes weeks if suppliers let you down. Well - here's where we can help!

If you're starting up a new business or studio or are purchasing several pricey items per month - we're able to offer a status-free scheme to get you along. You must first have some paid orders with us and have a good working relationship with us. After this is established, we'll be looking to allow you up to £500 of credit with us - with 20% of the order being paid up front and the balance paid within 10 days. Again - please ask for more information. We're wanting to help you guys get your walls furnished in your studios and help you sell!

I've had a few done from Lee now - certainly can't fault the quality or turnaround time. Will definitely be using again.
