Products you've bought that have delivered their promise

Another vote for my iphone. I moved from the "I will NEVER own an iphone, what an overrated piece bit of kit" camp to "OMG, I love my phone" groupies. Seriously, knocked me off my feet, I thought it could never live up to the hype.

My mate ( well friend :D)
has a 12 inch penis

but he doesn't use it a rule

Boom tish :D

More of a guideline than a rule "Ok, line up on this, now straight ahead...keep coming......left a bit...keep coming...ok...you're docked"

Don't know if it's true or not but it's a good story.

During the cold war the USSR and USA still traded, the Russian military ordered 20,000 12" condoms from a US manufacturer, before they could be shipped the order had to be approved by the US government.

They inspected the condoms and approved their shipment with one addition, all the boxes had to be marked medium

From back when the t'internet only had enough bandwidth for haiku competitions:

Polish survival
Kit: Spam and condom. No ****.
Lord, the mind boggles.

For "****" please rearrange t, i, s, h.

Never heard of this before but it tickled me so did a little google search to see if it was true. Came up with this: linky

I like it even more if it was indeed Churchill responsible!

so what have you bought that delivered what it said on the box:)

Didn't come in a box, but Porsche Boxster S. Said it was a perfectly balanced sports car with insanely good roadholding and it is exactly that.

Over five years now as my sensible every day car (I have a completely impractical weekend toy car as well) and I still wouldn't change it for anything else on the road, even though its going to roll over 100,000 miles in a few months.

The condom size stories reminds me of a scene from the film Alien Nation. James Caan plays a US cop working with an alien cop. Caan shows the alien a condom and explains what they are for. The alien asks "And they fit?" A bemused Caan replies " er.....yes.....they stretch" and he demonstrates, pulling it out to its limit. The alien then asks " And they still fit?"

I thought so too...my Brother's GF has one and even after driving it I still prefer the Ox-cart technology of my Mustang...

Best photo 'gadget' would be self-amalgamating rubber-tape for added knock protection on camera lenses, coupled with Wildlife Watching Supplies' camo neoprene collars - seals the edges so dust doesn't get underneath and abrade the outer surface of the lens...

I thought you guys wanted to wear the paint off as shiny sliver is closer to L white than black is :D

meh Mustang, try a landy :p

meh...Canon-schmannon - I notice that all of the after-market manufacturers copy the Nikon 'Black with Gold accent' design for their lenses - even Pentax are doing it now...

No-one seems to be trying to make their lenses look like Canon's...lol

Landy's are great - for driving in fields full of cows' poo and carrying bales of fodder - but I prefer nice, clean, dry roads...lol
