Produce & Share a Zine Round II (May - October 2020)

And we have a winner! @Mr Perceptive 's zine just arrived  Many thanks David.

I love bimbling around old quarries and David's take on it showing old tram tubs off the rails is an excellent way to add interest and tell the story of abandonment. Great photos in a high quality zine.

BTW I edited more into the above post which might have cross-posted with #165

Right! Mine went in the post today! Arrived this morning then I had a bit of folding to do, and now all is good. You lucky lucky people.

mine should make it to the post box tomorrow, @Harlequin565 without the negs unfortunately, I've searched high and low and I'm beginning to think they have been a victim of a spring clean at some point in the last 30 years :/

that's one option for round 3 fallen at the first hurdle

That's sad news. If they ever turn up, just drop me a PM.

got a bonus from Ian as well which certainly is both amusing and poignant!

Everyone got the bonus. A limited edition (you each have 1 of 7) hand folded (badly) and thus unique :)

Received zines today from @FishyFish and @Harlequin565 - both great little zines, got a bonus from Ian as well which certainly is both amusing and poignant!

As have I, the bonus feature has got me hankering after a medium format film camera again, the power of an image should never be underestimated....and you have a lot of cameras :)

looking forward to settling down with a coffee this afternoon, @FishyFish has produced something I'd like to get more into, if only I wasn't bone idle......and locked down....

Me too. Thanks @FishyFish Really nice presentation. Your ability to get sharpness & quality like that out of film is just not human. Keeps me persevering!

Ian and David's zines arrived today. Very nice work in both.

I'd like to thank @Harlequin565 for getting the Bee Gee's Stayin' Alive stuck in my head after reading the final caption. Also, cool extra. If only I still had hair... :D

Got @FishyFish 's excellent zine this morning, thanks Nige.
 Couldn't agree more, he is a fish though...

Thanks all. (y)

Looking forward to making another zine now, maybe with a specific project as focus this time.

I got 5 zines today, one from @FishyFish, two from @Harlequin565 and the latest two in the Collated Observations series from ADM Publishing

Having spent a cup of tea time looking at them all, I have to say my favourite three do not come from ADM Publishing, so well done - really enjoyed them, and having just acquired a Ricoh FF-9 for the princely sum of £1.50 and put a roll of HP5 in it, I shall be looking to emulate some of that fishy sharpness!! I feel the time is right for me to do a film project and develop a analogue zine - one for the next round maybe!

The quotes in Ian's zine are just great, cleverly selected, and bordering on 'off the wall' and certainly diverse.

That said I've just acquired a digital zoom pinhole setup so who knows.......

Having had a couple of good looks at the two zines I got today I'd like to apologise in advance for the quality of pictures and production of mine. They both work very well. (y)

Although mine is in colour... :giggle:

Posties been again. (y) Two more to open later when my hands aren't covered in glue.

2 clever ideas dropped on the mat this morning, thanks Allan H and Dave L :ty: :)

Quite like the presentation/production in yours to be fair, it's refreshing :) Not had a chance to have a look at any properly yet, that'll have to wait until the weekend I think. Of course I've had a quick shufty as they've arrived though, it would be rude not to :)
