Can anyone recommend a good book on the process for processing RAW images? I mainly use PS5 but i do have Lightroom if that helps.

Any recommendations or help would be very welcome

Thanks Garry, will have a nose at that one in my local bookshop first without jumping in feet first

I've have the Martin Evening book and the Scott Kelby Lightroom 3 book, and I have to say I prefer the Kelby. But it really depends what style you like - Kelby walks you through a workflow, and has some Kelby "humour"; Evening is more reference type. Either would do you very well I would say.

Try Real World Camera Raw with Adobe Photoshop CSxx* Originally by Bruce Fraser and Jeff Schewe (although maybe the latest version is just by Jeff Schewe, as Bruce Fraser died a while back). It really covers everything from start to finish.

* There have been updates with each iteration of Photoshop so I guess you will the PSCS5 version.

Anthony.

Martin Evening's book, The Adobe Lightroom 3 Book is the best one for Lightroom, IMO.

CS5 book arrived today .... wow, its going to take me months to go through it, if not years

A quick flick through and looks very interesting and seems to cover everything. Thanks guys

I took pot luck at my local Public Library (remember them?!) and got a book called "After the shoot" which really helped me set up my workflow. It was for CS4 though - although I expect it's broadly similar?
