Processing Portraits

I was referring to the previous image you posted. The one above is nice but work on expression. Add some feeling into that pose and it would be much nicer.

Yes this is a lesson I learnt from this shoot - normally photographing my wife she doesn't need as much direction any more :) I forgot to think of these things.

looking at her website and comparing the before and after results, I would suggest you might like to try this in Lightroom. Get the image density right, the original examples on Krissy Allori site in general seem a bit light. . Then crush the blacks slightly using the dark slider in Lightroom. You'll be surprised the effect that gives. I'd then add some vibrance, or saturation , whichever gives the best result, and then add a vignette. Finally evaluate and make any small changes to give the result you want.
