Processing options for art nude

This may well be a dumb question but having browsed several different film processing companies websites I can't find any reference to what you might call an acceptable content policy for processing.

If I were to shoot some art nude images on film, what options would I have for processing them? Is it something that film processing companies are happy to deal with or would I have to learn how to process the film myself as they (understandably) may well want to protect their employees from any offence caused by the content?

Are you talking about developing processing, processing a digital scan of a developed neg or processing associated with wet print production
 
I'd ring 'em and check tbh. Most pro labs will be fine with art nude stuff, I'm fairly sure, but if you're worried give 'em a call first.

I don't shoot people anymore, so can't comment on the current state of play - but BITD, with a pro lab, you just dropped 'em in and said they were nudes, and not to decorate the walls of the darkroom with too many of 'em ;)

Just processing as far as having the negs for home scanning. Any printing would also be done at home using an R2400.

I don't see why any professional labs should have any problem with nude images as long as their not obviously pornographic.

Thanks for posting. My concern is simply because my previous experience of film was 30 years ago when I was 10-11years old and I vaguely recall hearing adults making comments/jokes about people having images withheld because of the content.:)
 
:lol: thought that might have been your concern. That's more a "Boots the Chemists" problem than pro-labs, tbh.

Though I did work with one guy who ran a minilab, and kept a Biscuit Tin of photo's that he edited out of rolls "because we're not allowed to develop pictures like that!"

My mum worked in the photo lab of a branch of Woolworths about 30 years ago, her job was to load the printed pictures and the negatives into the wallets, one other things that she had to do was inspect the images for that sort of thing and report them to the manager who would call the Police if it was seriously 'nude' i.e porn. Apparently when she worked there several people did actually get arrested for breaking the obscene publications act of 1964! (Although I doubt that any of them were actually convicted)
