Problems with windows 10 upgrade and internet conection

Hi Guys

I do not know if this is coincidense but since upgrading from windows 7 on my PC to windows 10 the internet has been a bit dodgy. the internet on the pc is fine its the router that seems to be the problem, not letting other items conect to wifi without installing the password which never used too, or not letting the item conect at all.

Anyone else had this problem or could it be my router is on the blink??

Upgrading windows on your PC shouldn't have any affect on your router. It sounds like the problem is with your router. Have you tried unplugging it for a couple of minutes and plugging it back in again? They're temperamental beasts and a 'hard reset' as the IT types refer to it often seems to do the trick.
 
Thanks again neil, I have reset it and done a couple of firm ware updates on it and it seems to have rectified the problem, I think it was more coinsidence than anything
 
M surface pro has started to not connect to my wifi properly. It worked fine for the 1st month on windows 10 but now doesn't always find my wifi, and I have to restart it.

Didn't have this issue on windows 8.1 and all other devises haven't had any problem connecting to the wifi so can't be the router etc
